Here's a few newsworthy pics...

We attempted a half-hearted start of school around here.  Due to some big computer glitches, the dreaded continuation of Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease in the family and a nauseous, migraine-prone mama I should definitely stress that school is pretty HALF-hearted.  Here's a picture of one happy student though...
Can I just say that I LOVE 1st grade!!
Therese got all brave and adventurous the other day and decided she wanted a haircut.  So we got a little wild...

She really likes the new 'do. So it's all good.
And here's my view from the trip to drop Stephen off at the U...

Timothy was in charge of driving,
Stephen took care of directions for getting us lost through the Cities,
and I kept the fridge company in the back seat.
Breathtaking view from his dorm room.

And here's the New Man on Campus all ready for the adventure to begin.

Can you say ice cream?

MMM...MMM GOOD!

The End of an Era: Part 2

Here is Part 1 of our sandbox demolition.
As with everything around here, there always seems to be more to the story.
Dan decided that the top of the sandbox was still in pretty good shape
so they loaded it up on his old Subaru.
Voila!  I believe the nickname given was...
Redneck Deck Haulers.
A quick trip down the hill...
 with Big Guy escorts...

 some extra MAN power...

hack off the legs to make it all nice and stable.

Find someone to pose on brand new lakeside deck!

Added on the catwalk that went between the swingset and the sandbox
as a little "bridge" on to the  new deck!

This would be what we mean by blueberry picking at our house...

Seems to be a problem when the fridge is a tad unorganized.

Ain't She A Beauty?

Timothy splurged on a sports car recently.
 (Nice photo bomb, Stephen)
Everybody had to check it out.
 Proud Owner Pic
The bad news?  It's been up on blocks since the 2nd day he drove it!

Clare's Sweet Sixteen

Clare decided to have friends over for her birthday this year.
I stayed busy keeping little people out of the way.
 Matthew took pictures.
Stephen took care of cutting the cake, the birthday song and serving up
the goodies.
It was steamy hot that day but everyone had a great time.
And...yes...Clare did pass her drivers' test last Thursday!!

Lego Mania!

This is what you get if you're a Lego Bad Guy around here.
