May Days...

Good morning to you!

Yes, this is the kind of craziness I wake up to every day.

Some great fishing off the dock this Spring.

Dan finished replacing the carpet on our "new" pontoon.

Now we're ready for some hardcore fishing.

Aside from leveling the sand in the volleyball court,
some of us dedicated a few days to spreading out this mucky mess
left from our new well.

The boys got creative with the morels this year.

Franny found a new friend.
(The lawn mower, not the brother.)

And, yes, volleyball starts on Friday night and our garage
needs a complete overhaul.

Did get the garden planted, though...
after hauling many loads of compost.

The flowerbed is growing more than just mushrooms...
finally!

Fun in the Sun

Brought to you by two sunny days this week.
(I thought they were a little crazy.
The water temp is not all that warm
but they had a great time anyway!)

We Have New Sand!!!

Why are we excited about this sand?
I don't remember how many years we have
hosted Friday night volleyball...
but our "old" sand had a reputation for
shredding the skin off of people's feet.
Wondering how many days it
will take to level
that pile.

With a Song in Her Heart and a Face Only a Mother Could Love...

Marianna's song of the morning:
He's got the whole world in His pants,
He's got the whole world in His pants,
He's got the whole world in His pants,
etc., etc., etc.

A New Project and Some Fishing from Last Week

Dan struck a deal with our neighbors...
he fine tuned our old pontoon (which was rather small
for our crowd) and traded it for their pontoon which needs a bit of work.
Matthew and Andrew stripped all of the carpet off
and now it awaits Dan's magic touch.
Who needs fish stories when a picture
speaks a thousand words?

And this one says, "Yuck, what is that girl thinking?"
All aboard!

And they're off!

Recent Random Photos from Life in Our Little World

Clare and Marianna had some bonding time recently.
After polishing Marianna's toenails, they got all pretty together.
This batch of kids is trying to wear out the beanbag toss...
while camping in the yard.
Obviously, early mornings with Daddy are the best!
Clare surprised me with flowers from a friend's yard.
The little people wanted to wash dishes so we gave them their own
suds in the bathroom.

We used the flowers from our Spring piano recital to
decorate for Mary's month.
We're busy gearing up for the
Wedding/Ordination/Graduation Party scene.
I may or may not be freaking out just a little bit every time I
look at our calendar for the next month.
