On Personal Hygiene

Gabriel:  I used some of that wash mouth last night.

And Johnny, my busy egg checker.

These girls got it made.

He's out looking for eggs at least every other hour throughout the day.

Must be squeezing our girls to improve production!

Whatever he's doing, it must be working...we're getting 3 to 4 eggs/day now.

Miss Marianna and the Potty Training Experiment

Let me begin by saying, I hate potty training.

 

I am terrible at it.

 

You'd think with all my years of experience, I would be an expert.

 

NOT!!

 

Here's my unsuspecting girl a few days before the start of the potty train.

Here she is two days into the "experiment".  This is what I call the "hiding phase".

 

As in... "Marianna, do you need to go potty?"

 

"Marianna, where ARE you?"

 

By the time I find her, she's managed to leave a little puddle on the carpet.

 

See. 

 

 I'm a real expert at this.

 

We put this off for so long,

 

I thought I would luck out and she would just take matters into her own hands.

 

(ew, maybe not the best choice of words when pertaining to potty experiments!)

 

Maybe I should wait until December.

 

(this is what's running through my head half way through the day.)

 

Or maybe I should stop and take a picture and laugh with my sweet girlie.

On football day...

We are so over those Vikes....go Packers!

Moving up in the world.  We're on to climbing.

(Guess my argument wasn't very convincing.)

So he says he likes to cut wood.  Well, maybe not anymore. Heh, heh, heh!  No, really.  We didn't work him too hard.  But they did manage to eliminate this leaning tree that has been slowly tipping over for about a year now.

On Sunday, Joe K. stopped in to pick up our Joe and head back to school.  The kids persuaded him to play a little football.

Fall Clean Up

 

Sheesh!  That is a lot of leaves! They're pretty but not so much when it's time to rake a couple of acres.
